FAQ
Answers Before You Ask
MOQ, samples, customization, lead times and payments — the questions every buyer asks first.
Getting Started
How does a project start, and what are the steps?
Every project runs through five stages: a short brief, our read on it, the right cooperation model, sample approval, then production and delivery. Private Label is fastest (your brand on a proven model); OEM Customization adjusts options we have already verified; ODM Development covers structure design and new tooling. Send the brief and we will recommend the model rather than quote blind.
What should I include in my first message?
Product category and the model you are evaluating, your target market and the certifications it requires, estimated order quantity, and how far you want to customize (logo, colour, packaging). That is enough for a real answer instead of a generic price list.
How quickly will I hear back?
We reply within one business day. Every inquiry is read by a person on the sales and product development team in Jinhua — you are not routed through a ticket queue.
Can I get a catalog and spec sheets?
Yes. Tell us the category and your target market and we will send the latest available spec sheets and model list directly. The complete product catalog is available as a PDF download, and we will send the matching per-line spec sheets and model list on request.
Products & Customization
What is the difference between Private Label, OEM and ODM at RYVO?
Private Label applies your brand to an existing product. OEM customizes confirmed options (color, function, accessories, packaging). ODM develops a new or improved product with structure, tooling and engineering — see the OEM & ODM page for the full comparison.
Can I put my own brand on an existing product?
Yes. Private Label puts your identity on an existing, market-verified product: logo, colours and brand packaging, plus your user manuals and inserts. It is the fastest route to market and the one designed for low MOQ and short lead times.
Can I change colour, function or packaging on an existing model?
That depends on the model and how deep the change goes. Logo, packaging and colour or surface finish are adjustable on existing products. Function and battery configuration changes, and BOM adjustments, are only made under OEM Customization or ODM Development — we do not change verified internals on a Private Label order. The OEM & ODM page carries the full capability matrix.
Can you develop a new product and new tooling?
Yes, that is our ODM path. We manage product definition and concept review, structure design and new molds, then engineering, testing and pilot runs before mass production. It starts from a defined product idea rather than a catalogue entry.
Do you manufacture the products yourselves?
No. RYVO is a product development partner, not a factory. Every product is produced with manufacturing partners in China: oral care with specialised oral care manufacturing partners, and men's grooming and hair styling products with audited partner factories that we select, qualify and manage end to end.
Can components be changed after approval?
No. Critical components (battery, motor, PCBA, pump, blade, heating element, thermal fuse, power cord) cannot be substituted without written customer approval.
Quality & Compliance
How do you control quality during production?
Production is controlled at three points. First-article and line patrol checks run at start-up, in-process QC runs through the order, and a final random inspection happens before loading. An inspection report is issued with every shipment, and the approved golden sample is kept on record as the reference.
Can you help with certifications for my target market?
Yes — we can assist with target-market certification applications. Published certificates on this site are matched to the specific entity and model; we do not present assisted applications as completed certifications.
Commercial Terms
What is your MOQ?
MOQ is 500–1,000 pcs for standard programs, depending on model and configuration. For private-label programs on existing products we can support smaller trial orders; the exact MOQ is confirmed per product in your quotation.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Stock samples and pre-production samples are available. Sample policy (price and shipping) is confirmed when we know your product and destination.
What are typical lead times?
Sample lead time is 7–15 days from artwork confirmation and production is 30–45 days after sample approval for standard programs. Both are confirmed per product and quantity in your quotation and locked into the specification before production starts.
What payment terms do you accept?
Standard terms are confirmed on quotation. We work with common export payment methods for B2B orders.
Who pays for tooling, and what does it cover?
New tooling applies to ODM development, not to Private Label or option-level OEM changes. Tooling cost and the terms attached to it are set out in your quotation before any tooling work begins, so nothing is committed before you have the number.
What if the delivered goods do not match the approved sample?
Mass production runs against the sealed pre-production sample, and that approved golden sample is held on record. If a shipment does not match it, the sample is the reference for resolving it — raise it with your RYVO contact when the goods arrive, together with the inspection report issued for that shipment.
